The Pancreas
The pancreas is a gland that lies towards the back of the upper part of the abdomen. It is divided into head, neck, body and tail. Pancreatic juice emptied into duodenum through pancreatic duct at a point where bile duct joins pancreatic duct.
The two main functions of pancreas is secretion of insulin to control blood sugar and makes enzymes which help in digestion of fat.
